I haven’t been a big podcast listener, though I do listen to a few specific education ones, as well as to my own :).
I’m in the midst of recovering from a herniated disc caused by a basketball injury (which, unfortunately, appears to have ended by forty-year amateur career in that sport).
I’m taking longer-and-longer walks as part of my recovery process, and would like to start listening to some podcasts that are not specifically related to education, but that a teacher could learn from and apply some concepts to the classroom.
Please share your suggestions, and I’ll compile them into a “Best” list.
Thanks!
The knowledge project is excellent. I suspect you could pick up a couple of ideas from every episode.
Planet Money from NPR: https://www.npr.org/podcasts/510289/planet-money is one of my favorites.
Revisionist History by Gladwell is great. We discussed it in my history class. A few kids really got into the rest in their own.
Radio lab
Akimbo by Seth Godin about our culture and about how we can change it.
