I’ve written in the past about an exercise researchers developed to help students identify the most important values in their lives, and why it can be so effective in enhancing student motivation (see New Research Finds That Simple Writing Exercise About Personal Values Can Have A Big Impact). I share in detail how to do the activity and, in fact, just did it last week in class.
