Six years ago, in another somewhat futile attempt to reduce the backlog of resources I want to share, I began this occasional “Ed Tech Digest” post where I share three or four links I think are particularly useful and related to…ed tech, including some Web 2.0 apps.

Here are this week’s choices:

Veed automatically provides subtitles to your videos. I’m adding it to A POTPOURRI OF THE BEST & MOST USEFUL VIDEO SITES.

Lokkicloud lets you transfer files from one device to another. Upload Express also lets you transfer large files. I like WeTransfer as a way to send large files (particularly when students are sending me videos they’ve created and are not sharing it via Google Drive).  But it never hurts to have alternatives.  Send Secure is a new tool for sending large files.

MaTrip lets you chronicle trips you take.

GetKnowT takes notes you take and then turns them into quizzes.  I’m adding it to The Best Resources On Effective Note-Taking Strategies – Help Me Find More.

Printed vs digital text: A meta-analysis is a new study on the topic. I’m adding it to The Best Resources On Which Is Best – Reading Digitally Or Reading Paper?

EduCandy is a new site where you can create online learning games.  I’m adding it to The Best Websites For Creating Online Learning Games. Thanks to Blog de Cristina for the tip.
