I teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced English Language Learners at Luther Burbank High School in Sacramento, California.  I’ve been developing a fairly extensive and popular website for awhile that has links appropriate for my students and others learning English as a second language.  There are now nearly 6,000 links on the site and I add about 150 new links each month, along with regularly verifying all the links on the site.  I’ve been sending out a monthly email newsletter highlighting a few of the new resources I’ve posted, but thought doing a  blog might be another way teachers could more effectively use my website.

Sometimes in my posts here I’ll highlight one new site, and other times multiple ones.

My first website of the day is, modestly, my own:

Larry Ferlazzo’s English Website

Blogging is new to me, so I’ll have to ask for your patience as I figure out the ins and outs about how all this technically works.

Feel free to leave me suggestions of additional sites I should consider recommending!
