Idioms are tricky to learn in any language, and just adds more complexity to having to learn one that’s as illogical as English.

I’ve placed a new link from NDI English Village that has the idiom in text form and illustrates it with a picture.  Then it shows several sentences using it correctly with audio support.

When you go to the link, click on the blue colum in the middle to see the different idioms.

I’ve placed the link on my English For Intermediate and Advanced under the Idioms and Analogies section.   It’s at the bottom and is just entitled “Idioms.”
