DirectGovKids is a very colorful site that, through audio, animation, and text, explains the role of government in the United Kingdom.   It’s done in a way that’s ideal for English Language Learners.  Students in the United States could go to the site to both learn more about the United Kingdom and then, later, identify differences between that country and the United States.

I’ve placed the link in the Europe category of my Geography page.  It’s about halfway down that section, and one of the last ones in italics.  Remember, in the social studies pages links that have both audio and text are shown in italics.
