I’ve had a difficult time finding online resources related to the French Revolution that would be accessible to English Language Learners.  I’m teaching World History in the fall to three separate classes of students ranging from high-beginners to Advanced,  and  will certainly be discussing it then.

Imaging the French Revolution has about fifty contemporary drawings from that period, including ones that are a little gruesome.  Having students look at them as a preview to learning about the event, and asking them to write what they think might have happened, would be a good introductory activity.

I’ve placed the link on my World History page under Europe’s Power Grows Greater.
