I generally don’t post about resources that cost anything, nor do I add them to the 8,000 links on my website.

However, there are three that I do use and that are worth the money.  Raz-Kids is one of them.

They have a ton of “talking books” that are leveled, and our students and their families love them.  They have just vastly expanded the number of books they offer, too, which is why I’m writing about it now.  You can access five samples for free.

The cost for one classroom (up to 36 students) is less than $60 for a year.  They have an easy way to manage “classrooms” so you can monitor who is reading what.  It works great for our home computer Family Literacy Project.

I’m certainly not getting anything from them for this “plug,” but I thought people might find this information useful.
