Lumifi is a very intriguing new research site.  It’s a web search engine, apparently geared towards scholarly research.

It has a very clean interface and allows you save search results and collaborate with others.  I’m still exploring all its features.  They say they’re working on a video to explain it all.  It’s worth a visit.

The data base it draws from seems, at least to me, pretty limited at this time.

I think something like this would be a great set-up for K-12 students if Lumifi expanded their search results beyond highly academic sources.  For now, I’m trying it out with some research on ESL topics.

I’ve placed the link on my Teacher’s Page under ESL Research.
