Several blogs have posted today about an animated explanation of the financial crisis from ABC News. It’s a great explanation. However, the audio portion is spoken very fast, so for many English Language Learners (including my students) it will need to be stopped and started several times in order to assist comprehension.

Unfortunately, this short clip is on YouTube, which is blocked by most school content filters, including mine.

Fortunately, however, through some quick magic I performed with Edublogs.tv, which made The Best Web 2.0 Applications For Education — 2008, my students and yours can view it here even if YouTube is blocked.

In addition to adding this link to The Best Sites To Learn About The U.S. Financial Crisis, I have also created a special posting for my students on the financial crisis that you might find useful.
