National Geographic lets you send a strange, but engaging, E-Card of what appears to be its mascot, Zipper.

Students can “drag-and-drop” various objects into the picture, including speech bubbles where they can write text. They can then send it as an email, and post the link on a teacher or student blog/website.

It’s easy and a little more interactive than the typical E-Card, where you just choose an image and send it off.

I’m sure I’ll be adding it to the next installment of “The Best Ways to Create Online Content Easily & Quickly.” You can find all twenty-plus previous installments at my Websites Of The Year.

By the way, Edublogs is still experiencing difficulties with their upgrade, so if you click on internal links in my blog you might get an error message. If that happens, try refreshing the page. Today Edublogs announced they are expecting to receive additional servers in the next couple of days to help deal with the problem.
