Perspctv began a few months ago as a visually engaging way to keep track of election news on the web. When I first heard about it, I didn’t think it was particularly useful to teachers or to students.

It’s now added a new “search” feature, according to TechCrunch. It allows you to search news, twitter, and blogs simultaneously for multiple items and compare the number of times they’ve been mentioned. It then not only allows you to access the mentioned items, but display a comparison in a visualization.

It looks neat but, for the life of me, I can’t think think of a way to use this with students. Any ideas?
