This is going to be a short and sweet “The Best…” list.
Chartle is a new online tool to easily and quickly make charts, graphs and maps. It’s slightly more complicated than some of the other applications here, but still worth adding to the list.
Chart Go is another new site that lets you easily make…charts.
Kids Zone is another good site for making charts and graphs.
Pie Color is an easy place to make pie charts that you can embed.
Chart Chooser is pretty cool. It shows you different types of charts — categorizing them in which are best for showing what kind of data — and then you can upload your data into them.
DIY Charts seems like an easy place to create…charts.
ClassTools’ Venn Diagram tool is the easiest and best tool I’ve seen anywhere on the Web to create two or three circle diagrams.
I’ve been wondering for awhile if I could ever find an online application to make graphs that I could actually understand how to use. Hohli and Chart Tool are two I’ve tried, but just couldn’t figure them out.
Charte makes it very easy to create…charts.
HOW COULD I HAVE NOT KNOWN ABOUT GOOGLE’S “DATA GIF MAKER”?
THE BEST FUN AND/OR INTERESTING RESOURCES ON VENN DIAGRAMS
LiveGap Charts lets you create online…charts.
No Code Chart does what it name says it does.
Pie Chart Maker lets you easily create…pie charts.
Vizdium lets you easily create charts and graphs.
Upload data to Chartify and it will use AI to come up with various recommended ways to visualize it.
Graphy lets you easily create various charts with your data.
Graph Maker uses AI to easily make charts and graphs.
ChartGPT is pretty cool – tell it your data and the kind of chart you want, and it will create it (I tried this data – “The more a teacher tends to talk, the less a student tends to learn”).
Thanks to Steve Dembo and now Donna B. I’ve now got a new obsession (creating graphs online) which has probably quickly spread across the edublogosphere.
Meanwhile it’s good to note that it looks like you missed the second incredibly amazing gem in Donna B.’s comment — which I was waiting to see whether you realised it (and grabbed it) before me 🙂 . Now have you wondering what you missed 🙂

Very easy to use and understand. Makes lots of different kinds of graphs and several options to download your graph.
Wow, what a great idea. Thanks for sharing it. I can’t wait to start using it with my kids next week.

What about Google chart API and spreadsheet gadgets? They can also leverage your spreadsheet for easy data manipulation.
Example of crappy integrated graph(did a table by hand) connected to a live g spreadsheet. http://bit.ly/9yllaH
Larry, I can’t figure out Hohli either!
Hello Larry,
thanks for a nice list – i was looking for some charting tools and arrived here. While they are goo in general none of them were easy and comfortable enough for me and then i’ve found http://DIYcharts.com These guys have made really hard work to make it look awesome, please consider adding them to your list as well – it might be helpful for others too!
Cheers.

May I suggest one more lovely site I found and actually used for some of my needs- http://reportivo.com/
it offers the ability to create online charts that can be published and shared with friends and colleagues. It is free and quite easy to use. Won’t regret it if you take a look.

As the developer behind http://SankeyBuilder.com as seen on wikipedia at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sankey_diagram that automatically creates Sankey diagrams, have a look at my latest tool, http://dimplecharts.com which creates advanced DimpleJs.org Dimple Charts in one click! Includes a Chart Scenario Builder! Click the Shuffle button and it automatically loads your fields into the correct inputs of over 100 chart types (Area, Scatter, Step, Ring, Line, etc). You can review each Scenario and then with one click, save the Scenario. You can share charts via a unique URL and even Clone them to create variations from an original!. It also includes an Online Pivot Table builder which generates a file from the Pivot result…You can then generate an advanced chart from the pivot result in one click. Try the free version, it’s brand new and super slick!
Nice list, thanks. http://charte.ca is another interactive online chart generator. Allows to import raw data and build a pivot table from it. Supports drill-downs.
