Kevin Hodgson has just posted about a neat site called Ask 500 People.

You should read his post about it, but basically you ask a yes/no question (you have to register to ask the question) and then people answer it. You don’t have to sign-up to answer, and you see a world map with “pushpins” showing from where people voted. The map can be embedded on a webpage.

Kevin shares ways this can be used with students, and you can see an example on his blog.
