As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I’m teaching two U.S. History classes with English Language Learners this year — in one we’re using the computer lab several days a week, and in the other we’re using what I like to think of as my usual engaging curriculum that’s less technology-based.

One of the many comparative assessments I’m using to see the differences, if any, between the two classes is a simple multiple-choice test of basic history knowledge. It was developed by Common Core.
