To paraphrase one of my favorite expressions (that I’ve stolen from someone else, though don’t know who that was, I believe that charter schools have a place, but also have to be kept in their place.

Newsweek just ran a column by Raina Kelley titled In Defense of Teachers: What charter schools really tell us about education reform.

I’d characterize it as a “must-read.”
