A new study suggests that the longer boys stay in school, the less likely they are to have high blood pressure in their later years.

As with other similar negative health-related effects, I’m not sure my students really make decisions based on what might happen years from now. But I’m still adding this post to The Best Resources For Showing Students Why They Should Continue Their Academic Career, and will add this piece of information to the lesson I do. Perhaps the cumulative effect of seeing all the health risks inherent to dropping out of school might have some positive impact.
