Loose Leaves is the newest web app that lets you write or paste images and automatically creates a webpage. You’re given two url addresses — one where you can edit it again and a second where others can view it. No registration is necessary.
I’m adding it to A Few Simple Ways To Introduce Reluctant Colleagues To Technology, where you’ll find several other similar web tools.
Hi Larry,
Glenn here – developer of LooseLeaves.me. Thanks for the kind review. I hope your readers can make use of it. Any suggestions for improvement are graciously appreciated!
Hi Glen,
I’ve wondered why there’s so little comment on this marvellous site of yours. Is it possible to check any reviews somewhere? I’d like to know more about the background, security aspects, worst case scenarios, privacy etc, all those pesky questions we ask!
Hi Rebecca,
Thanks for the kind comments about the site. It has not received a lot of attention in the press and we have not put much effort into marketing it. But I do stand behind it and will not close it down. Security is very weak – as it was designed to be a public publishing platform. Anyone can read your leaves if they simply enter your public URL.
I’d be happy to answer any other questions you may have or delve deeper into these answers – either here, or by contacting me directly. (glenn at bluejava.com)
