A colleague of mine, Diane Staehr Fenner, is working on a project related to advocacy for ELs. She is interested in hearing from teachers and administrators across the country who advocate for their school’s English learners so that the students receive an equitable education and achieve in school and beyond. A couple of examples of serving as an advocate might be finding community resources for your ELs or planning a back to school night that attracts EL parents.

If you serve as an advocate for ELs, please contact Diane directly at Diane@DSFConsulting.net to share real-life examples of ways in which you do it.
