Learning 2 Spell is a new free site that provides a series of spelling tests that learners can take. Teachers or parents can enroll individual children and track their progress. There’s a limited amount of content on the site now, and there were a few bugs when I tried it, but I suspect both issues will be resolved soon.
Because of those problems, though, I’m not going to add it to The Best Spelling Sites. However, I am going to include it in The Best Sites That Students Can Use Independently And Let Teachers Check On Progress.
Hi Larry
I’m the creator of Learning2Spell – I think you may have caught us right in the middle of deploying the site for the first time! There were definitely a few issues getting everything up and running, but hopefully most (if not all!) of the issues are sorted now.
I’m going to be spending the next week or so adding spelling lists. If you have any lists you’d like me to add, I’d be more than happy to add them. Also, if you have time could you reach out (via my email above) and let me know what issues you were having – just incase there is something I’ve overlooked)
I’d appreciate if you revisited the site in a few weeks and reconsidered an inclusion in your list of best spelling sites.
Thanks
Dave Smylie

Hello, I am a student in Dr. Stranges EDM310 class at the University of South Alabama. I read your post about the quote, “optimism is not about being positive so much as it is about being motivated and persistent.” I can definitely relate to this quote because I try my best to be supremely optimistic throughout my days here on earth. I liked the idea about writing three positive things down about your day before you go to bed. My Wifey and I have agreed to give it a shot. We will let you know how it goes. Thanks
