In yet another attempt to get at the enormous backlog I have of sites worth sharing, I’ve recently begin a regular feature called “The Week In Web 2.0.” It’ll be a short compilation of new decent sites that are worth noting, but maybe not necessarily worth a separate post and generally — though not always — not worthy of being on a “The Best…” list (let me know if you think I’m wrong in my assessment, though):

Glassboard is a new tool that lets you create your own private social network. I’ve added it to Not “The Best,” But “A List” Of Social Network Sites and took the opportunity to completely update and revise that list.

Thumb.it lets you easily and quickly create a simple “visual” poll.

Voicepic.me lets you easily make a super-short audio recording when take a photo with your iPhone. However, since the recording is so short, even though it’s easy to use it compares badly with similar apps on The Best Sites For Beginning iPhone Users Like Me list.

Plenty Pins is a new online “corkboard” site that you can pin items to. It’s easy to use. However, it doesn’t let you grab photos off the Web and you can’t make your boards public, so I’m not adding it to
The Best Online Virtual “Corkboards” (or “Bulletin Boards”).
