Hi Larry,
A friend of mine just recommended me to your blog … What a wealth of information and guidance! I am looking forward to spending lots of time mining the gems … and checking out your NYT column.
My husband and I are retired – both former teachers – and would love to do nothing more than teach ESL. I have doing some research and have interviewed with some schools but would appreciate your advise on the best route to take for certification.
What I hear most is DON’T take an online course and DO take the CELTA course.
We are moving to San Diego and I have checked out what looks like a good program at the American Language Institute at SDSU.
What to do? If you have a minute, I would welcome your guidance.
Thanks,
Mary
