I created a model Internet Scavenger Hunt for my recently monthly New York Times post, and was surprised to find that, though the tools on my The Best Places To Create (And Find) Internet Scavenger Hunts & Webquests list were all workable, they all left something to be desired.

Today, though, I discovered what is, for now, my favorite tool for creating these kinds of “hunts” — a new site call Urlist.

You register, copy and paste the sites you want, easily leave comments/instructions/questions for each site (which students can see by clicking “expand,” share the link, and you’ve got your hunt. You can also “play” the sites like a slideshow, but that’s not necessary for scavenger hunt purposes.

Thanks to TechCrunch for the tip.
