I have a huge backlog of resources that I’ve been planning to post about in this blog but, just because of time constraints, have not gotten around to doing. Instead of letting that backlog grow bigger, I regularly grab a few and list them here with a minimal description. It forces me to look through these older links, and help me organize them for my own use. I hope others will find them helpful, too. These are resources that I didn’t include in my “Best Tweets” feature because I had planned to post about them, or because I didn’t even get around to sending a tweet sharing them.

Here are This Week’s “Links I Should Have Posted About, But Didn’t”:

8 buildings shaped like animals is from TIME. I’m adding it to The Best Images Of Weird, Cool & Neat-Looking Buildings (& Ways To Design Your Own).

Here’s an infographic I found interesting, “Car Deaths Around The World”:

Losing an iPad: Simple Things to Protect Identity and Theft on Your Mobile Devices is by Sue Waters. I’m adding it to The Best Resources For Beginning iPad Users.

Lynn Marentette writes that she “attended the IDC 2013 conference and there were lots of resources about the maker movement. The conference website is now serving as an archive for the presentations.” I’m adding it to The Best Resources For Learning About The “Maker Movement.”

Here’s a useful slideshow, The Flipped Classroom: Getting Started, by Peter Pappas. I’m adding it to The Best Posts On The “Flipped Classroom” Idea.

The Washington Post has a very important analysis of immigration and jobs. I’m adding it to The Best Resources About The New Push For Immigration Reform.

Why 20% Time is Good for Schools is from Edutopia. I’m adding it to The Best Resources For Applying “Fed Ex Days” To Schools.
