I’ve started a somewhat regular feature where I share a few posts and resources from around the Web related to ESL/EFL or to language in general that have caught my attention:

Here’s an interesting infographic on learning English (it may not be able to seen on an RSS Reader). There’s certainly more to it than what it says, but it does include some good pointers. I’m adding it to The Best Infographics About Teaching & Learning English As A Second (or Third!) Language.

Here are some useful assessment resources. I’m embedding a Facebook post so, again, I’m not sure it will come through on an RSS Reader. I’m adding it to The Best Resources For Learning About Formative Assessment:

20 Ways to Bring Your Textbook to Life! is by Shelly Terrell. I’m adding it to The Best Resources For Adapting Your Textbook So It Doesn’t Bore Students To Death.

20+ Tips and Resources to Engage Learners with Comics is from Shelly Terrell. I’m adding it to The Best Ways To Make Comic Strips Online.

20 resources for teaching and practicing parts of speech is from Adam Simpson.

Millions of American Students Need to Learn English is from The Atlantic.

Google Search By Reading Level is a good step-by-step post on how to identify web resources by reading level. I think that could be useful for teachers, but I would be very, very wary about having students use it. You can see why by reading The Best Posts & Articles About Why Book “Leveling” Is A Bad Idea.
