I’ve recently re-started an effort I’ve tried to do previously by regularly highlighting previous posts and articles I’ve shared in previous years that I think might be worth a second look.
Today, I’m highlighting an excerpt from my book, Helping Students Motivate Themselves, that appeared in Education Week nearly three years ago. That piece, too, was titled Helping Students Motivate Themselves.
Here’s an excerpt:
I have a teacher working on a course with me, using your book, Helping Students Motivate Themselves. He went to the page on Online Resources, and used the directions to go to http://www.eyeoneducation.com. It took him to Routledge, but there is no link there to your special online resources. What is there is not useful to him as a high school math teacher. Could you please advise me how to have my students access the great online resources that go with the book? I’m assuming there is a new way, and I need to make it clear in the directions for my course.
Thanks very much!
Mary Ann,
This is the main post where I have tons of additional resources for the book, including a new link where you can get all the downloads: http://larryferlazzo.edublogs.org/2011/02/19/helping-students-motivate-themselves-practical-answers-to-classroom-problems/
