The Times has just published The New York Times’s Most Visited Content of 2013.

The categories are pretty interesting, and they include which features were visited from which devices.

Most of the lists don’t actually include direct links, which I find quite strange, but they have headlines and descriptions. It would be easy to find them by typing the headlines in The Times’ search box.

Here’s a short excerpt from their post:

The New York Times today released its Most Visited lists for 2013. Categories include the most visited articles and blog posts, multimedia and interactives, and videos throughout NYTimes.com, our mobile site and our iOS apps. The most visited of all our content was the interactive “How Y’all, Youse and You Guys Talk” (December 21).

I periodically post “most popular” lists of websites (and books) that I think educators might find useful. Of course, there are a number of ways to gauge “popularity.” I just view these lists as opportunities to check-out some new sites, and find it interesting to see which ones might be particularly “popular.”
