In yet another attempt to get at the enormous backlog I have of sites worth blogging about, I’ve recently begin a regular feature called “The Week In Web 2.0.” (you might also be interested in The Best Web 2.0 Applications For Education In 2013). I also sometimes include tech tools that might not exactly fit the definition of Web 2.0:
Richard Byrne has written a good post about a new tool called Poetica. Read his post about it before you go to the site. It’s a word processing tool that seems to have the ability to more clearly give written feedback on a document than Word does. I’m adding it to The Best Online Tools For Collaboration — NOT In Real Time.
And, speaking of Richard, read another post he wrote about a cool iPad app called Post-it Plus that lets you take photos of your physical Post-its and easily convert them virtual ones. I’m adding his post to The Best Resources For Beginning iPad Users.
Reedsy looks like a potentially useful site for writers who want to self-publish. I’m adding that TechCrunch post about it to So, You Want To Write A Book? Here’s The Best Advice…
Using Diigo as part of your PLN is a good guide by Sue Waters. I’m adding it to The Best Social Bookmarking Applications For English Language Learners & Other Students.
Hi Larry,
Thanks for the mentions.
