Sentencing was scheduled to happen on Monday for the educators convicted in the Atlanta test-cheating trial. However, the judge delayed it for one day — apparently to see if prosecutors and the defendants could reach an agreement that might avoid jail time.

I’m sure I reflect the opinion of many in feeling that they should not be sent to prison.
