In yet another attempt to get at the enormous backlog I have of sites worth blogging about, I’ve recently begin a regular feature called “The Week In Web 2.0.” (you might also be interested in The Best Web 2.0 Applications For Education In 2015 – So Far). I also sometimes include tech tools that might not exactly fit the definition of Web 2.0:
Polarr is yet another online tool for photo-editing, and it looks like a good one. I’m adding it to The Best Sites For Online Photo-Editing & Photo Effects.
PearDeck lets you show a slideshow to your students with embedded questions they can respond to on their own devices.
Zeetings lets you upload a slideshow to show online and incorporate some, what appears to me, to be limited audience participation. You can read more about it at TechCrunch.
Viddy lets you share segments of YouTube videos with inserted questions. You can read more about it at these two Richard Byrne posts. I’m adding it to The Best Tools For Cutting-Out & Saving Portions Of Online Videos (Or Annotating Them).
