LA Times Gets Unlikely Support For Decision To Publish Allegations Against Famed LA Teacher is by Alexander Russo, and is the best up-to-date “take” on the Rafe Esquith saga. I still don’t think the district has shown any concrete evidence of serious charges, though some of the recently released emails are clearly inappropriate. See bottom of this post for even more up-to-date info.

I’ve previously published a number of posts about what’s been going on with legendary Los Angeles teacher Rafe Esquith, who was fired this week by the Los Angeles School Board.

More information has been coming out, and I thought readers might find it useful if I brought them all together in one post, which I will continue to update.

Obviously, few of us know all the details. However, considering the recent lack of leadership from the School District (A Very Beginning List Of The Best Articles On The iPad Debacle In Los Angeles Schools) and the clearly botched way they have been handling their investigation of Esquith, I am included to give him the benefit of the doubt.
