The Harvard Business Review just published a potentially useful article titled 4 Ways to Become a Better Learner.

It offers some good suggestions and, with a few edits, could be an accessible piece for students to read and respond to some kind of writing prompt.

However, one thing that stuck out to me is that the recommendations are done in the context of promoting something called “learning agility,” which was a new phrase to me. Based on the article, it basically sounds like a combination of the concept of learning transfer with the growth mindset idea.

The more I researched the term on line, however, the more confusing its meaning seemed to me.

I don’t want to unnecessarily add another buzzword into my classroom lexicon if it doesn’t bring any added value. I’m not convinced “learning agility” helps — Am I missing something?
