In yet another attempt to get at the enormous backlog I have of sites worth blogging about, I post a regular feature called “The Week In Web 2.0.” (you might also be interested in The Best Web 2.0 Applications For Education In 2018 – So Far). I also sometimes include tech tools or articles about them that might not exactly fit the definition of Web 2.0:

NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope mission has created a free app that puts “your photo in a virtual spacesuit in front of some of NASA’s most captivating space images. Share these space selfies on social media, and learn about the science behind the pictures.”

Emojer lets you create animated emoji’s out of photos.

DebateArt is a “new online platform created with a purpose to give anyone a chance to test themselves in debates on a large number of different subjects and improve argumentation and eloquence skills.” I’m adding it to The Best Sites For Students To Create & Participate In Online Debates.

Tilegrams lets you create cartograms. I’m adding it to The Best Sites For Learning About Cartograms.
