In yet another attempt to get at the enormous backlog I have of sites worth blogging about, I post a regular feature called “The Week In Web 2.0.” (you might also be interested in The Best Web 2.0 Applications For Education In 2018 – So Far). I also sometimes include tech tools or articles about them that might not exactly fit the definition of Web 2.0.

BEST LISTS OF THE WEEK: WEB 2.0 TOOLS

Cool Online Creation Tools

Here are this week’s picks:

Thanks to Jennifer Gonzalez’s 6 Ed Tech Tools to Try in 2019, I learned about Yo Teach. It’s a great tool for creating “back channel” classroom discussions or a place for conference attendees to ask questions of presenters, which is how I would use it.

How to Create Charts and Graphs in Google Docs is from Richard Byrne. I’m adding it to The Best Resources For Creating Infographics.

Squad is a new iPhone screen-sharing app that looks interesting.

Remove.bg lets you remove the background from any image.  Read more about it at TechCrunch, This cool tool deletes the background from images so you don’t have to use Photoshop.

Back to the drawing board! Doodle for Google returns. is from Google.

Crio is new — and we’ve already added features! is a post from SAS Curriculum Pathways which shares about updates to their great teacher tool, which is on several of my “Best” lists.

Online Voice Recorder does just that for free. I learned about it from Richard Byrne. I’m adding it to The Best Sites To Practice Speaking English.
