Here are this week’s choices:

Sentence Stems or Sentence Frames is by Valentina Gonzalez. I’m adding it to The Best Scaffolded Writing Frames For Students.

The Internationals Network for Public Schools: Educating Our Immigrant English Language Learners Well is from Stanford.

Storybooks Canada and World Stories are two sites with many bilingual and multilingual stories. I particularly liked World Stories because it has bilingual books in English/Pashto, and those are hard to find. I’m adding them to The Best Multilingual & Bilingual Sites For Learning English.

The Inference Collection features images with accompanying prompts for students.  I think it can be very useful. I learned about it from Altagracia H Delgado. I’m adding it to The Best Ways To Use Photos In Lessons.

SELF-PORTRAIT IDEAS FOR ESL STUDENTS is from English Teaching 101.

The Song Activity Factory has lots of song-related ELL lessons. I’m adding it to The Best Music Websites For Learning English.

This would be a good video to show to ELLs and then have them talk and write about what they saw:

I’m adding this tweet to The Best Sources For Ideas On How To Use Technology With English Language Learners (that list need to be updated and revised):
