Six years ago, in another somewhat futile attempt to reduce the backlog of resources I want to share, I began this occasional “Ed Tech Digest” post where I share three or four links I think are particularly useful and related to…ed tech, including some Web 2.0 apps.

Here are this week’s choices:

Milanote is a new online “bulletin board” like Padlet.  You can post and then move around images and text. I’m adding it to The Best Online Virtual “Corkboards” (or “Bulletin Boards”).

PIXELIXE is a new tool that easily lets you highlight quotes on photos. I’m adding it to The Best Tools For Creating Visually Attractive Quotations For Online Sharing.

Bullet Audio is an app that lets you identify a line or two from a podcast and turn it into an image.  I’m adding it to The Best Resources For Teacher & Student Podcasting.

Free Plagiarism Checker is a new…plagiarism checker.  I’m adding it to The Best Online Resources To Teach About Plagiarism.

Plectica lets you create flow charts and mindmaps.  I’m adding it to Not “The Best,” But “A List” Of Mindmapping, Flow Chart Tools, & Graphic Organizers.

Upload Express lets you transfer large files. I like WeTransfer as a way to send large files (particularly when students are sending me videos they’ve created and are not sharing it via Google Drive).  But it never hurts to have alternatives.  Send Secure is a new tool for sending large files.

Ace Thinker has yet another tool for converting PDF files.  I’m adding it to Not “The Best,” But “A List” Of Ways To Convert PDF & Word Documents.

Moving Files From One Google Drive to Another is from Richard Byrne. I’m adding it to The Best Resources For Learning How To Use Google Docs/Google Drive.

I’m adding this tweet to The Best Resources For Google Earth Beginners Like Me:
