Earlier this week I shared an exciting announcement from The New York Times Learning Network (see NY TIMES LEARNING NETWORK ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE FOR AMAZING STUDENT CONTESTS).

Today, they made another big announcement saying they’ve organized their materials into a seven-unit writing curriculum.

They describe it as “A flexible program for middle and high schools based on the real-world writing found in newspapers, from editorials and reviews to personal narratives and analysis essays.”

It looks impressive.

I’m adding it to Best Posts On Writing Instruction.
