The New York Times has offered lots of great resources to schools over the years, including The New York Times Learning Network (I’d say that even if they hadn’t published a lot of my posts – see All My NY Times Posts For English Language Learners – Linked With Descriptions) and the amazing “1619 Project” (see Get A Free PDF Of The NY Times’ “1619 Project”).

Now, they are providing free online subscriptions to teachers and students who are at what the federal government considers “Title 1” High Schools:

The Times is excited to partner with Verizon to provide free access to nytimes.com, in line with our shared commitment to fostering education.

Faculty and students at Title 1 high schools can now receive free New York Times digital subscriptions while connected to their school network.
