Eight years ago, in another somewhat futile attempt to reduce the backlog of resources I want to share, I began this occasional “Ed Tech Digest” post where I share three or four links I think are particularly useful and related to…ed tech, including some Web 2.0 apps.

You Know lets you upload texts and create private or public discussion groups about them – for free. I’m adding it to The Best Sites Where Students Can Work Independently & Let Teachers Check On Progress and to The Best Online Tools For Collaboration — NOT In Real Time.

Prezi Video is from the well-known presentation software company and lets you create videos for free.  I’m adding it to A POTPOURRI OF THE BEST & MOST USEFUL VIDEO SITES.

Tico Chat lets you create video conference calls with multiple people.  I’m adding it to The Best Online Tools For Real-Time Collaboration.

DokoMaps lets you create embeddable maps with annotated locations on them.  I’m adding it to The Best Map-Making Sites On The Web.

Miro is an app that lets you take photos of sticky notes and then organize them on a bulletin-board type interface.  I’m adding it to The Best Online Virtual “Corkboards” (or “Bulletin Boards”).

Liinks lets you list links with descriptions.  I usually add these kinds of sites to The Best Places To Create (And Find) Internet Scavenger Hunts & Webquests because that’s how I use them.

MixKit provides free images for use in videos. I’m adding it to The Best Online Sources For Images.

9 New Ways to Use Flipgrid in the Classroom is from Edutopia.

Tenor is a Google search engine for GIFs that also lets you easily create your own. I’m adding it to The Best Resources On GIFs — Please Contribute More.
