I’ve been publishing a series of posts with resources for schools to develop online learning as they are affected by the Coronavirus.

You can see them all at The Best Advice On Teaching K-12 Online (If We Have To Because Of The Coronavirus) – Please Make More Suggestions!

Google just made a new one available.

Many schools are using the Google Hangouts Meet tool for virtual classes.

Now, until July, Google is making the tool’s advanced features available for any school using G Suite for Education.

Those advanced tools include:

  • Larger meetings, for up to 250 participants per call
  • Live streaming for up to 100,000 viewers within a domain
  • The ability to record meetings and save them to Google Drive

I’m not sure how many schools would use the first two features, but the last one could definitely come in handy.
