I have a number of regular weekly features (see HERE IS A LIST (WITH LINKS) OF ALL MY REGULAR WEEKLY FEATURES).

This is a relatively new addition to that list.

Some of these resources will be added to The Best Advice On Teaching K-12 Online (If We Have To Because Of The Coronavirus) – Please Make More Suggestions! and the best will go to The “Best Of The Best” Resources To Support Teachers Dealing With School Closures.

Here are this week’s choices:

How to Set Up a Virtual Book Club for Students is from Edutopia. I’m adding it to Best Posts On Books: Why They’re Important & How To Help Students Select, Read, Write & Discuss Them.

ED RESEARCH FOR RECOVERY comes from Brown University, and will periodically publish research briefs.  I’m adding it to The Best Summaries Of Research About Online Instruction.

Efficacy of Virtual Instruction in K-12 Education is a new research review from Georgia State University. I’m adding it to the same list.

The Association of College and University Professors has a good ONLINE TEACHING TOOLKIT.   It has some very good stuff that could be adapted for K-12.  For example, I really like their rubric for participating in online discussions.  So, I’m adding it to THE VERY BEST RESOURCES TO SUPPORT TEACHERS DEALING WITH SCHOOL CLOSURES IN 2020 – PART ONE.
