I used to post weekly collections of my best tweets, and used Storify to bring them together.
Unfortunately, Storify went under.
Fortunately, however, Wakelet was a new tool that was able to import all of a person’s Storifys. So you can see all those previous Twitter “Best” lists here.

I don’t want to risk putting all the work into those posts again and risk losing them all.
So, instead of creating weekly “Best” lists of tweets, I’m going to use Twitter analytics to determine my most popular ones and embed them directly here in posts. That way, the only way they’d go away would be if Twitter itself went out of business.
So, here are my most popular tweets from the past thirty days or so:
It's been a rough 5 weeks of full-time virtual learning, but I now can say I think students r learning a lot. Clearly physical f-2-f would be better, but our online classes r nothing to sneeze at. Still, big ? is if amount of required planning time to make it work is sustainable

I say hello & wave 2 every student in every class when I let them into Zoom. 2day,I was momentarily distracted by email as I was letting 1 class in. 1 student yelled out, "U didn't say hello 2 me, Mr. Ferlazzo!" Everyone wants to be acknowledged & they notice when they're not.

I made a grading error and sent an apology to a student via Google Classroom. She immediately replied, "That's okay. I make mistakes, too." 🙂

I'm sorry, Doug, I have to strongly disagree with you here. There are SO many other ways to engage w/students. Plus, if I required cameras on, nearly 1/2 of my students would be inaudible because of bandwidth issues.

Biden goes on record not wanting teachers to die from the coronavirus. Sounds good to me.

Am I missing something, or is there no downside to letting students have copies of ALL materials I upload to Google Classroom assignments so they can annotate it if they want?

This is the first time since full time distance learning began that I was actually able to do all my planning for the week just on Saturday, without it taking up the entire weekend. Next up: figure out how to get a better handle on grading

In Aug, I worried about students turning cameras on. It has become clear to me that there r many other ways to engage w/ stdnts that seeing faces is not critical. Plus, w/cam on, betw 1/3 & 1/2 have poor internet that I couldn't hear them cuz of bandwidth issues w/cameras on
