The NY Times just published an interesting article on information literacy for students : Don’t Go Down the Rabbit Hole.
It discusses a method called SIFT (not to be confused with a literature analysis strategy with the same acronym):
2. Investigate the source.
3. Find better coverage.
4. Trace claims, quotes and media to the original context.
I’m adding this post to The Best Tools & Lessons For Teaching Information Literacy – Help Me Find More.
