Ingles.com looks like an amazing site for Spanish-speakers learning English. It has a zillion interactive, including many connected to English textbooks, and they appear easy to assign to Google Classroom.

They have a “sister” site, SpanishDict, that looks equally as valuable for English-speakers trying to learn Spanish.

Here’s how they responded after I asked some clarifying questions about the site:

SpanishDict.com, inglés.com, and our apps for both sites are completely free to begin with, as is creating an account in order to save progress in our vocabulary quizzes and grammar lessons. This free access also extends to our Classrooms feature, which allows you to link to Google Classroom or create classes directly on the SpanishDict.com or inglés.com site in order to assign vocabulary and grammar activities to students and log their progress.

Our Premium subscription option is for people who want to pay for some additional features, which include removing ads from the site and app, having access to Premium-only vocabulary and grammar reference PDFs (https://www.spanishdict.com/premium), and having the ability to take writing and multiple choice vocabulary quizzes in the iOS app while the device is offline. You can see the list of benefits here as well: What is included with a Premium subscription? We do not offer group pricing options for schools to subscribe students to our Premium membership option, and it’s not possible to share a Premium account with a group of students.

However, everything else on the site and app can still be used without paying for a Premium membership. The free version of SpanishDict.com and inglés.com includes full access to the dictionary and machine translators, pronunciation videos, example sentences, verb conjugations, vocabulary lists and quizzes, grammar reference articles, interactive grammar lessons, the Classrooms feature, and the word of the day. Some of these features from the websites are not available in the app version, especially for Android devices.
