I think many teachers are familiar with the Jigsaw instructional strategy.

Not everyone, though, might know the difference between applying it “cooperatively” and applying it “collaboratively.”

We wrote about the difference between the two concepts in our book Navigating The Common Core With English Language Learners.

Today, I gave a short presentation on how applying those two perspectives to the jigsaw, and thought that readers might find it interesting.
