As regular readers know, I’m a huge fan of Quizizz.

I’ve written a lot about it.

It’s so easy to use, so fun for students, has so many games, and has so many features.

But I hadn’t tried using its relatively new Live Whiteboard feature until today, and discovered that it can be VERY useful.

I’m teaching about quotation marks as part of students writing an Autobiographical Incident Essay.  After each question in the game, I was able to stop, pull up the question and the possible choices, and review with the whiteboard what was missing in the incorrect ones and what was present in the correct one.

You can see a screenshot at the top of this post showing an example.

The Live Whiteboard is a such a useful tool!
