A Velcro dart board can be turned into a class game by replacing numbers w/letters, consonant blends, etc. 1 px throws ball/Ss write as many words as they can for that category. No board? Draw on whiteboard & throw paper balls. #MLLChat_BkClub 6.0 #ESLsg @Larryferlazzo @KHullSyp pic.twitter.com/KEJohADphz

Sometimes we talk too much in the interest of covering more content, but “teachers can’t help Ss access & expand prior knowledge if the T is doing all the talking.” Talk less, Listen more. #ESLsg @Larryferlazzo @KHullSyp #MLLChat_BkClub 6.0 #MLL #ELL pic.twitter.com/TKE5GlkOI1

#MLLChat_BkClub 6.0 Wk 6 left me wishing for more time to investigate #LTELL data in my new community. There’s so much that needs to be done to support these Ss. We also need to be more proactive re: minimizing # of Ss who become LTELLs. #ESLsg @Larryferlazzo @KHullSyp #MLL #ELL pic.twitter.com/1Ltls5Z5T4

The #ESLsg guide recommends peer tutors in your #ESL/#ELD class. It was super effective in my ESL block. And here is some great advice from @Larryferlazzo on how to maximize their time to boost writing https://t.co/waycw0BkNi #mllchat_bkclub #ells #mlls @KHullSyp
