Though Thomas B. Edsall’s column in The NY Times today, Attacking Teachers From Every Angle Is Not the Way to Improve Schools , does read more like a list of quotations and links than a column, and even though he does spend some time on the tired and inaccurate myth about how we teachers tend not to be the sharpest knives in the draw, it nevertheless shares a lot of good information and research.

And it’s overall message is an important one.
