Education Week published a nice summary of a very titled STUDENTS WEIGH IN, PART IV:
Learning & Well-being After COVID-19. You can go straight to the actual survey by clicking on its title.

One of the major reasons I think it’s a particularly useful is because, unlike the widely quoted annual Gallup poll on student engagement which is not at all scientifically conducted, this survey seems to have been carried out much more in line with standard survey practices.  So, I have a lot more confidence in its results.

As the quote in the above textbox demonstrates, the survey doesn’t paint a very pretty picture.

In addition to concerns about teacher/student relationships, here’s another concerning survey conclusion:

In 2022-23, just 42 percent of students reported that they really feel like a part of their school community.

The survey is chockful of useful info, so it’s worth checking out.
