I posted THE BEST (& FREE) ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SITES FOR THE CLASSROOM – 2023 last month.
Since that time, though, I’ve learned of some excellent new AI tools and gained more experience with some that I new about before, and have decided to publish this short new “Best” list as sort of an addendum to that earlier one.
So, here are a few more AI tools that I think are the best out there:
School.ai looks excellent, and lets educators easily create their own AI-powered chatbots. It’s also free! You can read more about it at Eric Curts blog. You can also try out this teacher-created chatbot.
Mizou looks somewhat similar to School.ai. Agin, read an Eric Curts’ blog for details.
“MY LENS” IS A FREE TOOL USING AI TO CREATE HISTORICAL TIMELINES
THE PIKTO CHART “AI-POWERED INFOGRAPHIC GENERATOR” WILL RIGHTFULLY BE A POPULAR TOOL
Magic School looks like a good AI-powered teacher assistant.
This final tool comes with some reservations: Pi.ai is a chatbot that my ELL students liked a lot. It helped them learn English, and it has many other capabilities. However, each time we used it, it stopped working after awhile. In my communication with the site, it seemed like they were having technical difficulties handling thirty or so students using it at one time from the same place. I assume they are fixing it, and once they do, this will be an excellent tool.
